Rackam, poète post-covid, artiste pluridiciplinaire contemporain au rire-gilet-jaune, dévoile son premier auto-portrait musical, intime et hilare. Dans cet EP «LEL», le rappeur ironise avec sérieux sur sa part de responsabilité dans notre merdier contemporain. Sur fond de série B des années 1990, il livre avec honnêteté une part intérieure et émotionnelle de son enfance perdue.

Œuvrant depuis 2011 dans les groupes l’Armée des Morts et Streets of Rage. Il co-fonde le label bordelais Dumbhill avant de développer son solo avec des Mc-Set où son rap décomplexé, côtoie l’énergie de la musique électronique dans des freestyles enragés. Diplômé des beaux-arts, il est aussi réalisateur et scénariste sur différents clips et courts, il co-réalise le long métrage indépendant Wakanda classé parmis les 5 films qui n’iront pas à Cannes par Tracks/Arte. Né l’année de la catastrophe nucléaire de Chernobyl, Rackam célèbre la «fin du monde» dans un univers imagé, post-internet et dégoulinant comme son ignorant graffiti.

Rackam is a post-covid poet and multidisciplinary contemporary artist with a noticeable “yellow- vest” humour. Both intimate and hilarious, his EP, LEL, could be considered as his first musical self-portrait, in which the rapper ironizes on his own contribution to today’s bloody chaos. Using a 1990s B-movie soundtrack, he reveals with honesty some inner and emotional aspects of his lost childhood.

Since 2011, he was part of the groups l’Armée des Morts and Streets of Rage. He also co- founded the Bordeaux-based label Dumbhill before developing his solo career with Mc-Sets, which combine his straightforward rap with the energy of electronic music in the form of frenzied freestyles. A fine arts graduate, Rackam is also the director and scriptwriter of various music videos and shorts. He co-directed the indie feature film Wakanda which was ranked by Tracks/Arte as one of the 5 most unlikely films to make it to Cannes. Born the same year as the Chernobyl nuclear disaster, he celebrates the “ending of the world” in a graphic, post-internet and dripping universe, which resembles his ignorant graffiti.
